Default Hair Trick Secrets

I've seen 2 12s hair tricks, 4 15s hair tricks, 1 18 hair tricks, and even 2 10s hair tricks.
What is the secret to a hair/shirt trick?
Is it as simple as getting a bigger box and more port area?

I'm still debating myself if I should stick with a JL audio Build 2 12w7 and 2 1000/1 or 2 DAD BD 15 powered by 1 Crescendo Audio 3500.

I have a Toyota Corolla le 09 it's a decent size car, not too small or too big.

It was outside the car and bigger that his, but its still not a real hairtrick in my book. First attempt, Mark @ SSA was visiting and his wife poked her head in the cab. :) BHE ftw-

Thanks.
My main goal is to hit 150+ db
Along with hairtricks.

I'm still saving up money and planning out my build.
