Default SBN questions.

I have not competed at sbn (or any real show for that matter) in the last 10 years. Im thinkingto try it out this year at sbn. A few of you know that I was an exhexhibitor there last year, and competed in the tuner jam, but not db drags. First question would be, what class/category should I compete in? I have no clue to the rules and regulations anymore, so I know you guys know way more than me about this. I have a civic hatchback with b pillar wall(ported), 2-18" IA death row, 1- IA 20.1 (1800rms), 1 run of 0ga, 2-35ah batts, 1-800a capcell, and 200a alt. If you need more info, just ask. I've been told that their are no "power" classes, and it all depends on # of subs/sizes, batts, box config, and runs of wire. If this is the case, I dont have a chance going up against guys with 5-10k rms. Second question would be format I guess, what should I do? (Easiest) last time I competed, it was just your peak score of 3-5 burps in 30 sec.(sealed). Now they have db drag, bass race, etc, etc. Thanks in advance for your input. Oh yeah, my Car does ~ 149 @ 41hz sealed, 150 @ 35hz 1 door open(is this legal?)

Your best bet would be bass race 139.9 class.

Bass race will probably be your best choice. But you're going to need to get familiar with it before you compete at sbn

Ok. Thanks guys. Bass race is trying to maintain a 39.9 without going over, correct?

Also, what if I add more Power and try to burp? You can compete in multiple categories, right?

Yes you can compete in multiple categories. Two 18s walled puts you in Middleweight Bassboxing and Advanced IDBL, which allows unlimited batteries and runs of wire, 3 alternators, and an 18v charging system.
